Eventually, though, the ballad's tone begins to brighten up, as Aguilera looks back on what was -- even if it ended in infidelity. By the end of the track, Aguilera's voice and her music crescendos dramatically, as we all witness a painful, but necessary catharsis.

As Aguilera has stated before, 'Bionic' is something of a futuristic album, featuring an eclectic mix of R&B, pop, and ballads.
